Job summary

YMCA of Central Stark County (Ohio) seeks a qualified Lifeguard to work full-time across three branches. The role involves ensuring the safety of all swimmers, attending mandatory trainings, and maintaining a positive, team-oriented approach.

Wages range from $14.00 to $16.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. The position requires current YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguarding certification and BLS/First Aid; candidates not certified must be willing to be trained.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Current YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguarding.
• Current BLS (CPR) and First Aid.
• If not certified, willingness to be trained.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety of all swimmers and people in the aquatic area.
• Attend mandatory in-service trainings.
• Maintain a positive attitude and be a team player.
• Be rescue ready at all times during shift.
