The City of Plymouth, MN is seeking a Lifeguard to create a safe, welcoming environment at Wayzata East Middle School Pool. The role offers flexible shifts across weekday mornings, afternoons, and evenings with seasonal sessions starting in September, January and March.

Responsibilities include supervising pool activities, enforcing safety rules, and responding to emergencies while promoting inclusivity. Must be 16 by start date and hold or obtain current Lifeguard certification; CPR/First Aid

Qualifications

• Must meet age requirement of 16 by start date.
• Current Lifeguard certification or ability to obtain one.
• Strong communication and dependable teammates.
• Friendly, personable and able to work effectively in a team.

Responsabilités

• Supervise pool activities to ensure safe, positive, and enjoyable experiences.
• Provide vigilant surveillance and respond to emergencies per procedures.
• Enforce pool rules and safety policies consistently.
• Assist participants and maintain an inclusive environment.
• Collaborate with lifeguards and aquatic staff to keep the pool area safe and clean.
• Complete monthly staff trainings and pre-season preparations.
