Job summary

City of Plymouth is seeking a part-time Swim Lead to oversee swim programming at Wayzata East/West Middle School Pools. Under supervision, you will plan lessons, lead activities, and support staff to ensure a safe, engaging experience for all participants.

The role emphasizes inclusivity, confidence-building, and high-quality instruction for diverse ages and abilities, with training provided before start dates and flexible day/evening/weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 15 years of age or older.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain.
• Strong interest in teaching children and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, coordinate and direct swim activities and programs for participants of all ages and skill levels.
• Provide support to participants and staff to promote a welcoming, inclusive environment.
• Collaborate with instructors, lifeguards and recreation staff to ensure safe, high‑quality programs.
