Job summary

Life Time Midtown Tennessee is seeking an Aquatics Lifeguard to maintain high safety standards while delivering exceptional member service at our indoor and outdoor pools. You will monitor decks, assist with water slides, and help run events like Dive in Movies and Poolapalooza.

The role requires CPR/First Aid certification, StarGuard Elite, and physical ability to swim and lift in a fast-paced club environment. Benefits available for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Working toward a High School Diploma or GED.
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid Certified (or bridge to StarGuard when current certification expires or within 1st year).
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping.
• Ability to tread water for 1 minute.
• Ability to lift 20 lbs+ regularly.
• 6 months of customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with Members.
• Rescues swimmers in danger of drowning and administers first aid.
• Ensures swimmers are aware of potentially dangerous swim areas and activities.
• Keeps the pool area clean and orderly to ensure safety.
