Job summary

SwimLabs Swim School is seeking a Swim Instructor to teach swimming skills using SafeSplash curriculum in a fun, positive environment. The role focuses on safety, progress tracking, and fostering confidence in young swimmers.

Preferred candidates may hold WSI certification and CPR/First Aid; training will be provided if needed. Competitive hourly pay and flexible scheduling are offered across locations. Join a nationwide youth swimming program committed to safety and development.

Qualifications

• WSI certification preferred
• Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid preferred but we will help you get certified within 60 days of hire
• Experience teaching swimmers age 6 months to 10 years is a plus

• Teach swimming skills following SafeSplash curriculum in a fun, positive manner
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students
• Structure class time to include repetition and skill reinforcement
• Ensure swimmer safety during all activities

What will you do as a Swim Instructor?

• The main focus of a swim instructor is to teach swimming skills in accordance with SafeSplash curriculum in a fun, positive manner
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts
• Structure class time appropriately to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills
• Ensure swimmer safety

What are we looking for in a Swim Instructor?

• Previous swim instruction is preferred but we are happy to train you
• WSI certification preferred
• Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer and infant preferred but we will help you get certified in 60 days of hire
• Special consideration given to instructors with experience teaching swimmers age 6 months to 10 years and Special Needs.

Compensation: $16.35 - $19.00 per hour
