A local school district in Orono, Maine is seeking a Lifeguard to monitor activities near water, enforce safety rules, and respond to emergencies. No experience is necessary as training will be provided. Candidates must possess a current Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification or be able to obtain one upon hiring. Effective communication and group management skills are essential. This role offers a wage of $14.00-$15.29 per hour, along with additional benefits such as Earned Sick and Safe Time.

Qualificações

Thorough knowledge of swimming and water safety skills is required.
Must possess a current Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification or ability to obtain it.

Job Summary

Recognize and respond quickly and effectively to all emergencies.
Administer first aid and CPR, including AED when needed.
Work as a team with lifeguards, facility staff and management.
