School District 622 Community Education is looking for dedicated caring individuals to join our aquatic team. We offer American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim classes evenings and weekends during the school year and days and evenings during the summer.
We offer four sessions per year—one each season. Individual sessions are 7-8 weeks in length. Each session includes classes 3-5 days per week, 2-5 hours per day. Classes are staffed separately by day and you may choose as many or as few days per week as you would like within a session.
Ensure a safe and supervised aquatic environment for students during swim sessions. Monitor all swimming activity, perform rescues as needed, enforce rules and regulations, maintain equipment, and provide CPR and first aid when required.
