Qualifications

• No experience necessary, willing to fully train.
• Thorough knowledge and application of swimming and water safety skills.
• Must possess a current Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification, or ability to obtain upon hiring.
• Effective group management and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor activities in and near the water through patron surveillance.
• Prevent injuries by minimizing hazardous situations.
• Enforce facility rules and educate patrons.
• Recognize and respond to emergencies quickly.
• Administer first aid and CPR, including AED.
