Job summary

Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa in Orlando, FL is seeking a Lifeguard to ensure guest safety through constant surveillance, immediate emergency response, and water park maintenance. The role requires in-water activity and daily swimming participation, with certifications preferred (ARC Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, AED).

Qualifications

• Lifeguard must be an expert swimmer, be in excellent physical condition, and able to react quickly in emergency situations.
• Preferred certifications in American Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, and AED.
• Strong ability to recognize unsafe and hazardous situations and react properly.
• Will be required to enter the water, participate in regular in-water trainings and swim on a daily basis.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion and lift and/or move up to/over 100 pounds with assistance.
• Must be able to work in wet, humid, and outdoor weather conditions and extreme heat and sun exposure.
• Westgate Resorts is a smoke and tobacco-free workplace. Except where prohibited by law, applicants who smoke or use tobacco products will not be considered for positions at Westgate.
• Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities
