Job summary

Westgate Vacation Villas & Town Center Resort in Central Florida is hiring a Waterpark Lifeguard to ensure guest safety by enforcing rules, recognizing emergencies, and responding quickly. The role requires constant alertness and a strong commitment to a safe, enjoyable environment.

You will inspect and maintain waterpark equipment, provide first aid and CPR when needed, maintain continuous surveillance of guests, attend scheduled in-service trainings, and contribute to memorable guest

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a lifeguard is preferred.
• Must pass Westgate Swim Test.
• First Aid & CPR trained and certified (or willing to be trained).

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety rules to prevent accidents.
• Inspect and maintain waterpark equipment.
• Provide first aid, CPR, or other life-saving treatments when needed.
• Maintain constant surveillance of waterpark guests; act immediately to secure guest safety.
• Attend scheduled in-service trainings.

Job Description

The Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety of all waterpark guests by preventing, recognizing, and responding to emergencies. This role requires alertness and a commitment to maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment.

As aWaterpark Lifeguard,you will:

• Enforce safety rules to prevent accidents
• Inspect and maintain waterpark equipment
• Provide first aid, CPR, or other life-saving treatmentswhen needed
• Maintainconstant surveillance of waterpark guests; acts immediately and appropriately to secure guest safety
• Attend scheduled ”In-service” training

Qualifications

• Prior experience in as a lifeguard is preferred
• Must pass Westgate Swim Test
• Regularly lift, pull, push and or/move up to 50 pounds
• Able to bend, stoop, stand, walk, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb stairs, for up to eight (8) hours
• Exposure to outdoor elements and varying temperatures
• Lifeguard Trained and certified (or willing to be trained)
• First Aid & CPR trained and certified (or willing to be trained)
