Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Maintain constant vigilance of Guests in the Hurricane Harbor Waterpark.
2. Recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies using skills from Ellis & Associates ILTP.
3. Maintain a "Test-Ready" skill level post-certification.
4. Follow all policies and procedures of the Ellis & Associates ILTP program.
5. Assist in other areas of the Aquatics Department as needed.
6. Attend 4 hours of in-service training each month.
7. Enforce Six Flags safety policies and communicate them to Guests.
8. Maintain punctuality and a clean work environment.
9. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Minimum age of 15; at least 16 to obtain a Special Facilities License.
2. Effective communication skills.
3. Successful completion of lifeguard training and licensing through Jeff Ellis & Associates, including water rescue, first aid, and CPR.
4. Ability to stay calm during stressful or emergency situations.
5. Ability to exit a pool or attraction without ladders, steps, or zero-depth exits.
6. Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
7. Professional, self-motivated, with the ability to multitask and maintain enthusiasm.
8. Strong teamwork skills.
