The Green Hills YMCA is hiring a part-time Lifeguard to join our Aquatics Team. If you’re passionate about water safety, friendly with members, and ready to contribute to a fun, safe swim environment, this is the job for you.

Training and certifications are provided, including American Red Cross Lifeguard. Flexible shifts across multiple locations include mornings, middays, evenings and weekends; prior lifeguarding experience is not required.

Qualifications

• No lifeguarding experience? No worries! We’ll provide all required training and certifications, including the American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification.

• Create a safe, risk-free environment for all swimmers.
• Enforce pool rules (politely but firmly).
• Build relationships with members while ensuring they enjoy their time in the water.

The Green Hills YMCA is Now Hiring for a Lifeguard

Position Type: Part-time

Pay Range starts at $14 per hour (or more depending on experience)

Shift Availability varies by location:

- Brentwood: Hiring for morning and middays shifts

- Green Hills: Hiring for mid-day shifts

- Downtown: Hiring for early morning shift — 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM

- Donelson-Hermitage: Hiring for morning and midday shifts — 4:45 AM to 10:00 AM & 10:00AM to 4:00PM

- Sumner County: Hiring for early morning and midday shifts
