📍 Location: SafeSplash® Swim School - Arlington, TX
💵 Pay: $16.00 - $17.50/hour
🕒 Schedule: 14-18 guaranteed hours per week
Job Type: Part-Time | In-Person

🏊♂️ About the Role:

SafeSplash® Swim School is seeking highly alert, safety-focused, and dependable lifeguards to join our team. As a SafeSplash Lifeguard, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety of students, instructors, and families during swim lessons. You'll be the eyes and ears of the pool deck—always alert, always ready.

This is an impactful role with consistent hours, a safety-first culture, and a fun, mission-driven environment.

🔐 Essential Responsibilities:

• Maintain constant visual surveillance of the pool and surrounding deck areas
• Prevent accidents by proactively identifying and addressing safety risks
• Respond immediately to emergencies—perform rescues, CPR, or first aid as needed
• Set up and break down pool area before and after swim lessons
• Support deck manager and instructors with on-deck operations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of pool area
• Fill out incident reports as needed

✅ Requirements:

• Current Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (or willingness to obtain certification before or immediately after hire)
• Strong swimming ability (you'll complete a short in-water swim test)
• Ability to stay focused and alert for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working with teens, adults, and children
• Reliable and consistent availability
• Fluent in English; Spanish a big plus!

🕓 Weekly Schedule:

Must be consistently available on the following days:

• Saturday: 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• Monday-Friday: 3:00 PM - 8:30 PM
• Tuesdays: 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM

🌊 Bonus Qualifications:

• Previous lifeguard experience (preferred)
• Background in swimming, coaching, or aquatics
• Team player with a positive, leadership mindset
• Calm under pressure and quick to act
