Job summary

SEPA is seeking a strategic, data-informed Digital Engagement Manager to shape how the organization connects with audiences through targeted digital campaigns and personalized outreach.

This role leads enterprise email, digital notifications, and marketing automation, collaborating with Membership, Programs and Events, and External Communications to ensure campaigns align with SEPA’s master narrative and priorities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in email marketing, lifecycle marketing, marketing automation, or digital communications.
• Experience mapping member journeys and building automated email sequences.
• Strong digital copywriting and editing for persuasive, short-form content.
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Knowledge of CAN-SPAM and GDPR privacy compliance.
• Strategies across multi-channel environments including email, SMS, and app notifications.
• Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Energy industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own marketing automation operations for Pardot and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Create segmented, targeted outreach lists in Salesforce and Fonteva.
• Manage production and deployment of email communications with testing workflows.
• Collaborate with External Communications to align outreach across channels.
• Design and deploy automated nurture sequences for member recruitment, onboarding and retention.
• Plan lifecycle content for events to drive registrations and engagement.
• Track engagement metrics, maintain a centralized dashboard, and provide data-driven insights.
