You will be responsible for building and executing campaigns that drive acquisition, engagement, and retention while continuously improving conversion through analytics, A/B testing, and cross-channel optimization. This role is both hands-on and strategic, responsible for building and evolving the lifecycle function over time, including shaping team structure, processes, and channel growth. You’ll connect channels into a cohesive experience, using data to drive decisions and performance.

  • Build and optimize customer journeys from acquisition through retention, improving engagement and lifetime value
  • Develop segmentation strategies to deliver targeted, relevant messaging across all lifecycle stages
Email & SMS Marketing
  • Own Klaviyo and Attentive strategy and execution, including flows, campaigns, segmentation, and compliance
  • Drive subscriber growth, engagement, and revenue through optimized lifecycle programs
  • Continuously test messaging, timing, and audience targeting to improve performance
  • Partner closely with paid media across Meta, Google, and TikTok Ads to align lifecycle and acquisition strategies
  • Support and optimize paid campaigns through audience insights, creative testing, and performance analysis
  • Ensure alignment between paid traffic and lifecycle conversion strategies
Data, Analytics & A/B Testing
  • Own performance tracking across lifecycle channels using tools like Triple Whale, GA4, and platform dashboards
  • Design and execute A/B tests across messaging, creative, offers, and timing to drive measurable improvements
  • Translate data into actionable insights and clear recommendations that improve conversion, retention, and ROI
Go-To-Market & Campaign Coordination
  • Lead lifecycle execution for product drops, launches, and promotions, ensuring alignment across channels and teams
  • Partner with Creative, Brand, E-Commerce, and Operations to ensure assets, messaging, and timelines are aligned
  • Maintain visibility across campaign calendars and ensure flawless execution
  • Lead and grow the lifecycle marketing function, including defining roles, processes, and priorities as the team scales
  • Manage and develop team members or external partners, ensuring high-quality execution and accountability
  • Set direction for lifecycle strategy, ensuring alignment with overall marketing and ecommerce goals
  • Build a structured approach to campaign planning, testing, and performance tracking across the team
Systems & Optimization
  • Identify and resolve issues across the marketing tech stack (Shopify, Klaviyo, Attentive, analytics tools)
  • Continuously improve workflows, integrations, and campaign processes to increase efficiency and scalability
  • Contribute to CRO initiatives that improve the overall customer experience and conversion funnel
  • Partner closely with Brand Marketing, Merchandising, Planning, Creative, and Operations to support aligned launches, accurate product information, and efficient workflows.
  • Manage relationships with external partners, including web development, UX/UI, email/SMS platforms, and analytics vendors, to maintain a high-performing digital environment.
  • Contributes to a collaborative, inclusive, and solutions-oriented team culture where diverse perspectives are valued and respected.
  • Partners closely with cross-functional teams, including Merchandising, Marketing, Creative, Operations, Planning, and Customer Experience, to ensure alignment, transparency, and smooth execution across all digital initiatives.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, accountability, and urgency, consistently delivering high-quality work that reflects Civil’s brand standards and commitment to excellence.
  • Communicates clearly and proactively, especially when navigating fast-paced launches, evolving priorities, or challenging decisions.
  • Receives and applies feedback with openness and adaptability, modeling a growth mindset and supporting continuous improvement across the e-commerce function.
