Job Overview:

The Lifecycle Marketing Manager is responsible for driving growth in recurring revenue through data-driven lifecycle marketing strategies focused on increasing attachment rates, customer retention, and aftermarket sales. This role ensures equipment data is accurately captured and leveraged within the CRM, optimizing targeted marketing programs to enhance customer loyalty and maximize revenue opportunities at each stage of the customer journey. The ideal candidate combines a strategic mindset with hands-on execution experience in marketing automation, CRM data management, and aftermarket customer engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute lifecycle marketing strategies that nurture customer relationships from initial purchase through post-sales engagement, aftermarket purchases, and long-term loyalty.

  • Map out the customer journey, identifying key touchpoints to drive engagement, satisfaction, and repeat purchases.

  • Implement personalized, data-driven marketing campaigns to increase conversion rates at every stage of the customer lifecycle, including onboarding, usage optimization, renewal, and loyalty.

  • Leverage behavioral triggers, predictive analytics, and customer segmentation to deliver relevant messaging and offers.

  • Machine Data & CRM Integration

  • Lead initiatives to ensure equipment data availability, accuracy, and usability within the CRM for targeted aftermarket campaigns.

  • Collaborate with CRM, sales, and service teams to streamline data capture from connected equipment, service records, and IoT-enabled products.

  • Define and implement data governance practices to improve segmentation, personalization, and predictive analytics for aftermarket marketing.

  • Design and implement marketing programs focused on increasing attachment rates for aftermarket products, services, extended warranties, and subscription-based offerings.

  • Optimize customer journey touchpoints to improve engagement, retention, and lifetime value.

  • Create proactive retention programs and re-engagement campaigns for at-risk customers.

  • Partner with digital marketing teams to drive omnichannel engagement, including email, SMS, paid media, and account-based marketing (ABM).

  • Customer Insights & Data-Driven Marketing

  • Utilize analytics and customer insights to identify opportunities for cross-sell, upsell, and subscription-based revenue growth.

  • Implement A/B testing, segmentation, and marketing automation to refine messaging and improve conversion rates.

  • Monitor and analyze aftermarket sales performance, campaign effectiveness, and customer behavior to drive continuous improvement.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with sales, service, and product management teams to align lifecycle marketing efforts with business objectives.

  • Provide training and enablement tools to sales and service teams to improve customer engagement and aftermarket sales conversations.

  • Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and technology partners supporting CRM, automation, and loyalty initiatives.

  • Performance Tracking & Optimization

  • Define KPIs and track the effectiveness of lifecycle marketing programs, making data-driven recommendations for optimization.

  • Report on recurring revenue growth, customer retention rates, and aftermarket sales performance.

  • Identify emerging trends and innovations in lifecycle marketing and customer engagement strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, customer retention, CRM, or recurring revenue models, preferably in an industrial, manufacturing, or B2B environment.

  • Strong understanding of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics) and marketing automation platforms.

  • Experience in customer lifecycle marketing, loyalty programs, and engagement strategies.

  • Knowledge of aftermarket sales, recurring revenue models, and service marketing.
