Job summary

The Lifecycle Specialist at Caterpillar coordinates engineering changes for aftermarket products, drives inventory transitions, and manages obsolescence and new part introductions across the supply chain. You will work with Engineering, Operations, Product Support, and Distribution to plan rework, reduce scrap, and control costs while meeting customer delivery commitments throughout the lifecycle.

Location: Dallas, TX and Peoria, IL, with up to 10% travel. Relocation assistance none; U.S.

Qualifications

• Accuracy and attention to detail are essential to complete tasks with high precision.
• Data gathering and analysis using relevant tools helps form objective conclusions.
• Knowledge of inventory management for materials, WIP and finished goods.
• Problem solving approaches and techniques for operational or process issues.
• Understanding customer service concepts to meet or exceed expectations.
