Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Morton, IL is seeking an Engineering & Parts Lifecycle Team Leader to guide serviceability strategies and end‑of‑life decisions for Caterpillar service parts.

You will collaborate with engineering, product, procurement and cross‑functional teams to strengthen parts availability and customer support. You will lead SPEC quality, define business and technical requirements, manage dashboards and decision‑support tools, and drive data‑driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of service parts lifecycle and end-of-life decisions.
• Ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects with cross-functional teams.
• Analytical skills to define and document business functionality and non-functional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the SOS process with engineering, product and component teams to set serviceability strategies.
• Oversee SPEC quality and ensure consistent service parts establishment.
• Develop and maintain business requirements supporting SPEC and lifecycle processes.
• Own service life policy criteria and end-of-life strategies.
• Lead lifecycle strategy efforts for established service parts.
• Manage projects and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders for implementations.
• Develop dashboards and decision-support tools for lifecycle decisions.
• Establish performance measures and identify process improvements.
