Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Indianapolis, IN invites applications for a Lifecycle Engineer - Civil Mature Engines. The hybrid role requires office presence three days per week and includes domestic travel to engine maintenance centers and customer sites.

You will support rolls of AE 3007, AE 2100A, and RB211-535 engines, lead cross-functional investigations, and track fleet reliability while contributing to safety investigations. A strong engineering background and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or JD/PhD in Science, Technology or Engineering.
• U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident required for consideration.
• Experience/training in troubleshooting and problem resolution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize and lead cross-functional teams to investigate engine hardware issues and communicate status to customers.
• Monitor fleet reliability and coordinate with Service Engineering and customers to resolve technical issues.
• Participate in safety reviews and in-service reviews with regulators and airworthiness authorities.
• Provide engineering support at overhaul facilities and at customer sites; identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Initiate technical publication changes such as Service Bulletins and manuals.
