Job summary

RYZE is seeking a lifecycle engineering specialist to translate briefs into robust customer journeys using Klaviyo and Postscript, with a focus on coordinated email and SMS flows. You will own the tech health of the stack (Klaviyo, Postscript, Shopify, Recharge), verify tracking accuracy across events, and establish governance to keep sending rules consistent as programs scale.

This is a fast-moving, data-driven role in a lean team.

Responsibilities

• Translate Strategy into Built Experiences by turning briefs into live flows in Klaviyo and Postscript.
• Interrogate the brief to surface gaps like subscribers, active flows, recent sends, and order history.
• Tell Marketing when something isn't buildable and propose workable alternatives.
• Configure the full logic layer: triggers, filters, conditional splits, profile conditions, timing, and suppression.
• Coordinate email and SMS to avoid conflicts and establish governance for sending rules.
• Own the technical health of our lifecycle stack—Klaviyo, Postscript, Shopify, and Recharge.
• Own the tracking layer end to end: ensure Shopify, Recharge, and on-site events land in Klaviyo with correct properties.
• Configure and troubleshoot webhooks, API-driven events, and custom metrics.
• Maintain source-of-truth definitions for events, attributes, and segments for retention programs.
• Build reusable systems—templates and blocks—to speed up journeys.
• Lead evaluation and onboarding of new capabilities with impact vs. complexity in mind.
• Own pre-send QA for every email and SMS: dynamic content, alt text, dark mode, and rendering.
• QA landing pages: forms, consent, redirects, mobile rendering, and tracking firing.
• QA product and subscription configuration: plans, discounts, and swap/upsell flows.
• Operationalize A/B tests end to end with measurable instrumentation.
• Define experiment frameworks with clear metrics and sample sizes.
• Monitor flow health, delivery, and errors; surface issues on dashboards.
