Job summary

Inova Well in Virginia is seeking a Life Support Instructor 3 for PRN day shifts. The role teaches Basic Life Support to healthcare professionals within the Inova system and community.

Applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED and hold an current American Heart Association BLS Instructor Card. Prior BLS teaching experience is preferred, with a minimum 25 hours of instruction per quarter and 2–3 shifts weekly when available.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor Card upon start.
• Experience teaching BLS classes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teaches a minimum of 25 hours per quarter.
• Ideal candidate available to teach 1-2 days per week.
• Maintains excellent records and organizes classes.
• Adheres to AHA and Inova Health System/Inova Well Training Center policies and procedures.

Inova Well is looking for a dedicated Life Support Instructor 3 to join our team. This role will be PRN, Days Vary

The Life Support Instructor 3 teaches Basic Life Support classes. This role supports the Inova Health System/ Inova Well American Heart Association Training Center, teaching BLS classes to the system and community healthcare professionals.

Life Support Instructor 3 Job Responsibilities:

• Teaches a minimum of 25 hours per quarter, although the ideal candidate will be available to teach 1-2 days per week.
• Maintains excellent records and organizes classes.
• Adheres to AHA and Inova Health System/ Inova Well Training Center policies and procedures.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Certification: Must hold a current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor Card upon start.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience teaching BLS classes

PRN Shift Availability:

• Minimum of 25 hours per quarter, typically 2-3 shifts per week ranging from 5-9 hour shifts.
