Job summary

Inova Health’s Inova Well unit seeks a Life Support Instructor 4 to join the team on a PRN basis. The role focuses on teaching Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within our training center and health system, delivering high-quality educational experiences for healthcare professionals.

The incumbent will support the Inova Health System/Inova Well Training Center, maintaining equipment, records, and adherence to AHA guidelines and center

Qualifications

ACLS and/or PALS instructional delivery experience.
Experience in a clinical setting (EMS/EMT/RN/RT/LPN) preferred.
PRN availability with flexibility to teach 1–2 days per month when needed.

Responsibilities

Teach ACLS and/or PALS classes.
Perform administrative functions per program policies.
Ensure equipment is maintained and ready for use.
Maintain professional status to ensure high-quality teaching.
Adhere to AHA and Inova Well policies.
Teach a minimum of 25 hours per quarter (average 1–2 days/month).
Maintain accurate records and organize classes.
