Job summary

Inova Well is seeking a Life Support Instructor 5 to join on a PRN basis, teaching ACLS and PALS courses. The role supports the Inova Health System and the Inova Well AHA Training Center, delivering high-quality educational instruction for healthcare professionals.

Candidates must hold ACLS and PALS Instructor cards and have a minimum of 3 years teaching ACLS/PALS, with clinical experience in EMS, EMT, RN, LPN, or RT settings.

Qualifications

• Must hold current ACLS Instructor card.
• Must hold current PALS Instructor card.
• 3+ years teaching ACLS and PALS in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Teaches ACLS and PALS classes.
• Performs administrative functions per program policies.
• Ensures equipment is well maintained and functional.
• Maintains AHA record-keeping and paperwork.
• Adheres to AHA and Inova Well policies.
