Inova Health is seeking a Life Support Instructor 3 to join the team on a PRN basis. The role focuses on teaching Basic Life Support (BLS) classes under the Inova Well American Heart Association Training Center, serving system and community healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Instructor Card.
• Experience teaching BLS classes preferred.

Life Support Instructor 3 Job Responsibilities

The Life Support Instructor 3 teaches Basic Life Support classes. This role supports the Inova Health System/ Inova Well American Heart Association Training Center, teaching BLS classes to the system and community healthcare professionals.

• Teaches a minimum of 25 hours per quarter, although the ideal candidate will be available to teach 1-2 days per week.
• Maintains excellent records and organizes classes.
• Adheres to AHA and Inova Health System/ Inova Well Training Center policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification: Must hold a current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor Card upon start

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching BLS classes
