Job summary

CCRES, Educational & Behavioral Health Services is seeking a Life Skills Paraprofessional to join the Lower Dauphin School District team. The role runs on school days from 8:30am to 3:45pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, and pays $22.16 per hour plus PTO for eligible days.

You will support students in a Life Skills classroom, helping build daily living, social, and academic skills. The position involves direct instructional support for students with IEPs/504 plans, reinforcing learning, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and Paraprofessional training.
• Public-school experience preferred.
• Ability to support students with IEPs/504 plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instructional and behavioral support to students.
• Reinforce learning concepts and work with students in small groups or one-on-one.
• Assist with organization, monitor progress, and ensure a safe classroom environment.
• Supervise during meals, arrivals/dismissals, and non-instructional times.
