Job summary

Florida, LLC is seeking a Life Skills Assistant Program Manager to support instructors working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) to help achieve independence. The role emphasizes person-centered care and implementing IP goals with the team.

You will train staff, coordinate plan meetings, monitor safety, administer medication if licensed, and ensure documentation per APD and Qlarant requirements while maintaining warmth and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in medical, psychiatric, nursing, or direct care with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Must pass Level II Background screening.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the health and safety of all individuals.
• Ensure care requirements align with the Individual’s Support Plan and IP goals.
• Assist, and guide instructors on methods to help Individuals attain their IP goals.
• Monitor progress toward IP goals and track toward graduation.
• Create and submit quarterly summary documents to WSC per Qlarant requirements.
• Administer medication, as needed if licensed.
• Attend support plan and IP program meetings as requested.
• Provide administrative support to the Program Manager and Instructors.
• Provide class instruction and presentations as needed.
• Coordinate community outings with safety protocols.
• Complete required documentation for services per ADP and Qlarant requirements.
• Inspect and monitor the building for cleanliness and sanitization.
