Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in a medical, psychiatric, nursing, or child/adult care setting or direct care with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Must pass Level II Background screening.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health and safety of all individuals.
• Ensure care requirements are in compliance with the Individual’s Support Plan.
• Assist in creating IP goals with individuals and implement them with instructors.
• Provide medication administration if certified and instructor unavailable.
• Attend support plan and IP program meetings as needed.
• Provide administrative support to Program Manager and instructors.
• Keep documentation up to date in CRN system and incident reports per guidelines.
• Coordinate community outings and ensure safety protocols.
• Inspect building for cleanliness and sanitization per safety standards.
