Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have earned 72 college level credits or a degree or pass the ETS Assessment.
• Experience with students in both individual and small group settings.
• Knowledge of education fundamentals and current curriculum preferred.
• Experience in a classroom setting and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in following lesson plans.
• Help prepare or assemble teaching materials.
• Supervise students and support in classroom activities.
• Assist with tests, evaluate student work, and modify as needed.
• Maintain safety and monitor student behavior with de-escalation when required.
• Record student behavior and academic performance.
