Job summary

Azenta Life Sciences seeks an Account Manager for SRS Transportation to drive bookings and revenue across the United States. You will engage with academic institutions, pharma/biopharma clients, and government agencies to position Azenta’s transportation and relocation services while protecting sample integrity.

You will manage opportunities in Salesforce, forecast regularly, and collaborate with the broader sales team to grow Azenta’s presence with top accounts and cross-sell related services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; degree in a science-related field preferred.
• Minimum of three years of proven sales experience in life sciences or related fields.
• Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM platform.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong business acumen and ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of Azenta's sample management and transportation services.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in pharma/biopharma and academia.
• Leverage relationships to drive bookings for growth opportunities.
• Deliver capability presentations highlighting transportation services and broader portfolio.
• Conduct prospecting and cold-calling to generate new leads.
• Manage sales documents with Sales Operations and coordinate with account managers.
• Maintain opportunity data in Salesforce with weekly updates.
• Develop bi-weekly forecasts and quarterly business reports.
• Achieve/exceed annual sales goals with territory strategies.
• Support cross-selling with informatics, storage, and other services.
