Job summary

Pharmaceutical Company seeks an experienced Technical Trainer & Instructional Designer to develop and deliver technical training programs supporting Product Development and related functional teams.

This role blends instructional design with scientific and laboratory knowledge, creating engaging e-learning courses, training materials, SOPs, and hands-on learning while onboarding new hires.

Qualifications

• Degree requirements as stated: Bachelor's with 5+ years or Master's with 1+ year relevant experience.
• Experience designing and delivering technical training programs for adult learners.
• Experience with instructional design and e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate 360 (Storyline/Rise) or Camtasia.
• Familiarity with tissue-based assays, pathology workflows, or diagnostic instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain technical training materials, e-learning modules, guides, SOPs, and quick-reference documents.
• Apply ADDIE or similar instructional design methodologies to create effective learning for adults.
• Translate complex scientific concepts into clear, training content for diverse audiences.
• Develop interactive e-learning courses, scenario-based modules, and multimedia training materials.
• Deliver onboarding, classroom, virtual, and hands-on laboratory coaching.
• Conduct training needs assessments and identify skill gaps with SMEs.
• Maintain LMS content, track completion, assessments, and compliance.
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure effective training delivery.
• Update training docs based on product/process/platform changes.
