Job summary

EY in the United States seeks a Manager in Supply Chain Manufacturing for Life Sciences to lead technology-enabled transformation across plant operations, quality, compliance, and supply reliability in regulated environments.

You will guide cross-functional teams through assessment, requirement management, solution design, implementation, and validation, translating plant needs into measurable improvements while partnering with senior leaders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, life sciences, manufacturing, supply chain, information systems, business, or related field.
At least 7 years of relevant Life Sciences manufacturing, manufacturing technology, operational excellence, industrial data and AI, technology consulting, or related field.
Experience leading client-facing manufacturing, digital, data, or technology workstreams through design and at least one implementation or deployment phase.
Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical-device, or comparably regulated environments.
Ability to translate manufacturing needs into process, data, interfaces, and testing deliverables.
Knowledge of GxP, data integrity, electronic records, change-control, and validation considerations.
Ability to travel as needed (80-100%).

Responsibilities

Lead client-facing workstreams in Life Sciences manufacturing transformation with ownership of plans, deliverables, risks, decisions, and outcomes.
Assess current-state production and quality processes, user needs, and data flows through workshops and data analysis.
Translate priorities into process designs, requirements, acceptance criteria, and measurable improvements.
Develop functional designs for batch execution, electronic batch records, recipe management, and related capabilities.
Coordinate integration across MES/MOM, ERP, LIMS, QMS, historians, SCADA, DCS/PLC, and cloud/edge platforms.
Define data mappings, master-data needs, interfaces, and data-quality controls for reporting, analytics, and AI use cases.
Oversee testing, defect resolution, deployment readiness, training, and handover for the workstream.
Facilitate cross-functional sessions and manage scope, schedule, resources, and risks.
