Jacobs Solutions Inc. is seeking a Subcontracts Lead for Life Sciences North America. You will lead procurement activities for major construction services on high-stakes projects, coordinating a team of subcontract administrators and interfacing with client management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, construction, supply chain, or operations management, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree.
• 10+ years of experience in an EPCM construction contracting environment.
• Biopharmaceutical/Life Science Manufacturing Projects preferred.
• Travel - Anticipated travel 10-20% of the time.

Responsibilities

• As a Subcontracts Lead, develop upfront procurement planning activities such as the Subcontracting section of the SMEP, establishing Subcontracting Strategies, and developing project-specific templates, reports and tools.
• As a Subcontracts Lead, manage the activities of a team of subcontract administrators and other supporting procurement functions.
• As Subcontracts Lead, use critical thinking and problem solving to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the Project’s Subcontracting efforts.
• Utilizes established policies, procedures, systems, and tools.
• Coordinates the procurement of subcontracted services and administers Procurement Agreements and change orders to accomplish project or group objectives.
• Reviews subcontracts-related invoices and ensures that invoices are approved in accordance with terms and conditions.
