Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Procurement Agreement Specialist to support multiple projects across North America. You will guide Project Procurement Managers, draft flow-downs, and negotiate terms while ensuring compliance with procurement policies.

This role requires 8+ years in procurement, with 5+ in EPCM, excellent communication, and mentoring experience. The position offers a base salary range of $92,000 to $150,000, a hybrid work policy, health benefits, and opportunities for professional

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business, construction, supply chain, or operations management field. Law degree is ideal; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree
• 8+ years of procurement, contract, and/or EPCM project experience, with at least 5+ years in an EPCM environment
• Must possess strong communication, organization, and management abilities
• A drive to solve complex and challenging problems

Responsibilities

• Guide Project Procurement Managers in assembling project-specific agreement templates
• Draft flow-down documents to incorporate project-specific requirements into standard procurement agreements
• Create summaries of prime agreement terms and conditions for use by project team
• Review and evaluate exceptions to procurement agreements and lead negotiations as required
• Guide procurement professionals in obtaining approvals of exceptions
• Guide project teams in documentation and management of potential claims and ensure compliance with upstream and downstream contractual requirements
• Directly manage significant disputes and/or claims and ensure compliance with upstream and downstream contractual requirements
• Act as resource for interpretations of and questions related to procurement agreements, terms and conditions, and procurement policies and procedures
• Conduct training related to procurement agreements, terms and conditions, and procurement policies and procedures
• Support improvements to procurement agreements, policies, and procedures
• As required, directly bid, evaluate, and award notable contract agreements for key works or strategic contractors
