Job summary

Jacobs seeks a Senior Procurement Agreement Specialist to lead the drafting and management of project procurement agreements for Life Sciences North America. You will guide project teams, negotiate exceptions, and mentor procurement professionals across multiple projects.

Requirements include 8+ years in procurement/ EPCM, a business- or operations-focused degree (law degree ideal), and strong communication skills to coordinate across teams and projects in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business, construction, supply chain, or operations management field.
• 8+ years of procurement, contract, and/or EPCM project experience.
• 5+ years in an EPCM environment.
• Strong communication, organization, and management abilities required.
• Ability to coordinate multiple activities across projects.

Responsibilities

• Guide Project Procurement Managers in assembling project-specific agreement templates.
• Draft flow-down documents to incorporate project-specific requirements into standard procurement agreements.
• Create summaries of prime agreement terms and conditions for use by project team.
• Review and evaluate exceptions to procurement agreements and lead negotiations as required.
• Guide procurement professionals in obtaining approvals of exceptions.
• Guide project teams in documentation and management of potential claims and ensure compliance with upstream and downstream contractual requirements.
• Directly bid, evaluate, and award notable contract agreements for key works or strategic contractors.
• Conduct training related to procurement agreements, terms and conditions, and procurement policies and procedures.
