Job summary

Accenture seeks a Senior Manager or Principal Director to lead our Life Sciences R&D Strategy practice, driving AI-enabled reinvention across discovery, development, and delivery for biopharma clients.

You will steer end-to-end strategy engagements, build executive relationships across R&D functions, and partner with the broader Accenture team to deliver measurable client impact through data, AI, and digital transformation.

Qualifications

Deep expertise in Life Sciences R&D with top-tier strategy or biopharma experience.
Proven track record leading strategy engagements with measurable outcomes.
Experience presenting strategic recommendations and transformation roadmaps to C-suite-level stakeholders.
Strong understanding of how AI, data, and digital tech reshape biopharma R&D.
Demonstrated success in business development: identifying opportunities and shaping proposals.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and mentoring junior professionals.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as client needs require.
Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

Lead complex R&D strategy engagements from problem framing through delivery with measurable client impact.
Advise on R&D transformation priorities including strategy, portfolio management, AI data integration, operating model, and governance.
Develop and present strategic recommendations, roadmaps, and reinvention narratives to senior Heads of R&D and stakeholders.
Guide program lifecycle, ensure delivery excellence on large-scale engagements, and maintain quality control.
