Brailsford & Dunlavey, Inc. seeks a Project Manager to join its Life Sciences team in Boston. This hybrid role collaborates with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to manage planning, design, and construction for labs, research facilities, and tenant improvements.

You will develop budgets and schedules, review drawings, coordinate procurement, and support contract administration. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in PM or construction management and a degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Real Estate, Urban Planning, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in project management, development, or construction management.
• Strong communication and relationship management with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and reporting systems.
• Experience in life sciences or complex commercial real estate is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the primary liaison between clients and project teams throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Manage planning, design, and construction activities for life science facilities.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain project budgets and schedules.
• Review drawings to ensure alignment with program requirements.
• Coordinate procurement of design, construction, and consultant services.
• Support contract development, negotiation, and administration.
• Facilitate project meetings and track action items.
• Provide analysis of budget and schedule impacts and risks.
• Oversee construction activities in collaboration with design teams.
• Support value engineering and alternative solutions.
• Coordinate peer reviews and specialty consultants as needed.
• Authorize and support processing of contracts and purchase orders.
• Monitor construction progress and report status, risks, issues.
• Manage project closeout and turnover.
• Contribute to business development, proposals, interviews, networking.
