Job summary

Mission North in San Francisco seeks a strategic, impact-driven Manager to lead day-to-day client programs for Life Sciences and Health Tech accounts. You will anchor client relationships, guide campaigns, draft pitches and speaking submissions, and drive growth across teams.

You will synthesize complex technologies into compelling narratives, cultivate media relationships, mentor junior staff, and contribute to new business while managing up to 2 direct reports.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of communications or PR agency experience, preferably in health or life sciences.
• Experience developing, directing and executing PR campaigns that blend PR, content, social media and creator programs.
• Ability to translate complex technologies into compelling narratives for business and media.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end PR campaigns and programs for life sciences and health tech clients, across teams and stakeholders.
• Draft deliverables including campaign plans, media pitches, speaking and award submissions.
• Synthesize complex concepts into market-moving narratives and secure coverage with traditional and new media.
• Cultivate relationships with key media to drive brand awareness and coverage.
• Mentor junior staff and manage client dynamics to support growth.
• Track and report campaign performance using analytics tools and translate metrics into insights.
• Contribute to new business in partnership with senior leaders.
• Manage up to 2 direct reports.
