Our stories about breakthrough innovations and movements—and the iconic teams behind them—have influenced hundreds of billions of dollars in market value.

Join our vibrant communications agency dedicated to nurturing dynamic professionals seeking a career embedded in purpose and impact.

We're looking for a strategic, curious, and impact-driven Manager to lead day-to-day client programs and support our growing portfolio of Life Sciences and Health Tech accounts.

As a benefit corporation, we’re committed to making a positive difference through our work, culture, and community investments.

  • We give back 2% of profits, 2% of our time, and 2% of partner equity to support causes in our local communities, and have invested more than $2 million through grants, donations, and pro bono services.
  • Through our cross-industry fellowship and sponsorship initiative, Foster the Future, we’re creating pathways for the next generation of communications leaders.
  • Diversity, belonging, and equity are woven into our business and culture. We continue to advance our policies and practices to foster a more progressive organization and industry.
Move with Purpose

In this role, moving with purpose means acting as an anchor for our clients while driving the growth and development of our internal teams. Day-to-day you will:

  • Be a trusted partner to our life sciences, enterprise, and health clients, leading the end-to-end execution of PR campaigns and programs, teams, and stakeholders.
  • Draft deliverables including campaign plans, media pitches, speaking and award submissions.
  • Synthesize complex technical concepts into compelling, market-moving narratives and storylines that resonate with business, trade media, and new media alike.
  • Cultivate deep relationships with key traditional and non-traditional media to pitch stories, drive brand awareness, and secure coverage for clients.
  • Seek out creative ways to connect the dots between news cycles and client opportunities.
  • Foster team growth by providing regular, constructive feedback, guiding professional development, and helping junior staff navigate client dynamics.
  • Track, measure, and report on the performance of PR campaigns and programs using analytics tools, translating PR metrics into meaningful business insights for stakeholders.
  • Contribute to new business in partnership with senior leaders.
  • Manage up to 2 direct reports.

Going deeper means moving beyond the surface of a press release to truly understand the technologies and trends shaping the future of enterprise. Qualifications include:

  • A minimum of 6-8 years of communications or PR agency experience, preferably with health (including digital health & AI, biotech & life sciences, and/or health IT & infrastructure);
  • AI, and cloud infrastructure companies or related industries.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, directing, and executing PR campaigns and programs that blend PR, content marketing, social media, and creator.
  • Experience helping disruptive technology and health companies develop compelling storylines, speaking and award submissions, press releases, and thought leadership platforms.
  • Are passionate about how these technologies are redefining how we live and work.
  • Established relationships with top-tier trade media and bloggers, vertical market media and national and local business media
  • Experience running integrated PR programs, including paid content
  • Experience working with household names and emerging/disruptor brands in B2B technology, including data and cloud infrastructure, applied AI, health (digital health & AI, biotech & life sciences health IT & infrastructure) and other key elements of the modern business technology stack.
  • Experience supporting new business.

We believe that breakthrough ideas happen when people feel supported, challenged, and valued for the distinct expertise they bring to the table.

  • We’ve built an award-winning culture of curiosity and experimentation. Mission North is a Fast Company Most Innovative Company, ranking #3 in its inaugural PR and Brand Strategies category.
  • We foster a culture of lifelong learning and personal growth, supporting employees in their professional development.
  • Recognition for hard work is at the heart of our culture, with opportunities for advancement and rewards.
  • We invest in our people, offering a competitive compensation package, profit sharing, 401K matching program, professional development stipend, and comprehensive benefits.
