Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Life Sciences manufacturing to lead technology-enabled transformation across pharma/biotech/process industries. You will drive delivery from assessment through design, implementation, testing, adoption, and stabilization in a global, regulated environment.

You will oversee cross-functional workstreams, translate plant-floor needs into actionable requirements, and manage quality, validation, and data integration across MES/MOM, ERP, LIMS, QMS, and more.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, life sciences, manufacturing, or related field.
• 7+ years in Life Sciences manufacturing, manufacturing tech, or related field.
• Experience leading client-facing workstreams through design and deployment.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (pharma/biotech/medical devices).
• Knowledge of GxP, data integrity, and validation concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead client-facing workstreams in Life Sciences manufacturing transformation with clear ownership of plans and outcomes.
• Assess current-state production processes, data flows, and site constraints through workshops and data analysis.
• Translate priorities into functional requirements, acceptance criteria, and measurable improvements.
• Develop designs for batch execution, electronic batch records, genealogy, and related capabilities.
• Coordinate cross-plant data and system integrations (MES/MOM, ERP, LIMS, QMS, historians, OT/IT).
• Define data mappings, master data needs, and data-quality controls for reporting and AI use cases.
• Support analytics and AI use cases with data readiness assessments and governance.
• Ensure compliance with GxP, data integrity, and validation in workstream deliverables.
• Oversee testing, deployment readiness, training, cutover, and hypercare for the workstream.
• Facilitate sessions across manufacturing, quality, IT, data, and vendor teams; manage scope and risks.
• Coach junior team members and capture reusable delivery artifacts.
