Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking a Manager in Supply Chain Manufacturing for Life Sciences. You will lead client-facing workstreams transforming manufacturing with digital, data, AI, and delivery skills to improve plant performance, quality, and supply reliability.

You will work with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical-device clients to design, implement, test, and stabilize solutions across MES/MOM, ERP, LIMS, and QMS while ensuring GxP compliance and robust data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, life sciences, manufacturing, or related field.
• 7+ years in Life Sciences manufacturing or related field.
• Experience leading a client-facing manufacturing, digital, data, or technology workstream through design and deployment.
• Experience in pharma/biotech/medical-device regulated environments.
• Ability to translate manufacturing needs into deliverables and coordinate teams.
• GxP, data integrity, and validation knowledge.
• Willingness to travel 80-100%.

Responsibilities

• Lead client-facing Life Sciences manufacturing transformation workstreams with clear ownership.
• Assess current-state processes, data flows, gaps, and constraints.
• Translate priorities into functional designs and acceptance criteria.
• Develop designs for batch execution, electronic batch records, recipe management, genealogy, connected-worker tools.
• Coordinate integration across MES/MOM, ERP, LIMS, QMS, etc.
• Define data mappings and data-quality controls for reporting and AI.
• Support analytics and AI use cases with data readiness assessments.
• Work with quality and validation to meet GxP and data integrity requirements.
• Oversee config, testing, deployment readiness, training, handover.
• Facilitate sessions across functions and manage dependencies.
• Manage scope, schedule, resources, risks; contribute to proposals.
• Coach junior team members and capture reusable requirements.
