Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Manager in Supply Chain Manufacturing to lead life sciences manufacturing transformations for pharma, biotech, and medical-device clients. You will connect plant operations with enterprise systems, guiding teams across process design, automation, data, and analytics to achieve measurable value.

The role requires deep Life Sciences credibility, governance, and delivery leadership, with responsibility for quality, risk, and client relationships in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, life sciences, manufacturing, supply chain, information systems, business, or related discipline.
• No less than 10+ years of relevant Life Sciences manufacturing and technology experience.
• Experience leading complex manufacturing transformations in regulated environments.
• Experience delivering client-facing programs with governance, resources, quality, and risk accountability.
• Experience leading senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to translate requirements into process, system, data, and integration needs with traceability.
• Practical understanding of GxP manufacturing, data integrity, change-control, and risk-based assurance.
• Ability to travel as needed (80-100%).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Life Sciences manufacturing transformations from assessment to value realization.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and drive governance.
• Translate priorities into practical workplans and measurable outcomes.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams across design, automation, data, AI, and integration.
• Lead design for batch and discrete execution, eBRs, eDHRs, and quality workflows.
• Guide integration across MES/MOM, ERP, LIMS, QMS, historians, and cloud platforms.
• Establish data foundations with governance, master data and lineage.
• Shape analytics and AI use cases with value, data readiness, and risk assessment.
• Collaborate with quality and validation teams to include GxP controls and data integrity.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, staffing, risks, and handover.
• Connect digital solutions to daily management and continuous improvement.
• Develop leadership and teams with the right mix of skills.
• Develop reusable methods and follow-on opportunities with account teams.
