Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Boston, MA is seeking a highly motivated Intellectual Property Senior Associate to join our life sciences patent team. You will engage in patent prosecution and litigation, manage portfolios, and collaborate with seasoned attorneys on complex cases.

Candidates should have 3-5 years post-JD experience in IP, a JD from an accredited law school, and USPTO admission. A biology undergrad and life sciences PhD are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of post-JD experience in patent prosecution and litigation.
• Admission to practice before the USPTO.
• Licensed to practice law and in good standing in MA, NY, CA, CO, or DC.
• JD from an accredited law school.
• Undergraduate degree in Biology.
• Life sciences PhD strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage in patent prosecution and litigation for life sciences clients.
• Manage and develop patent portfolios.
• Conduct competitive landscape analyses and assess patentability.
• Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys on complex cases.
