BCG Attorney Search in Washington, DC seeks an Intellectual Property Senior Associate specializing in Life Sciences to join our office. You will engage in advanced patent prosecution and litigation within a dynamic team of legal professionals.

The role requires 3–5 years post-JD experience in patent prosecution and litigation, experience with biotech/pharma/gene therapy/medical devices, USPTO admission, and bar in DC (or MA/NY/CA/CO). Strong writing and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of post-JD experience in patent prosecution and litigation.
• Experience with biotechnology, pharmaceutical, gene therapy, medical device and digital health patents.
• Admitted to practice before the USPTO.
• Licensed to practice in DC (or MA/NY/CA/CO).

Responsibilities

• Conduct patent prosecution and litigation in life sciences.
• Manage and develop patent portfolios.
• Perform competitive landscape analyses and assess patentability.
• Collaborate with experienced attorneys on complex legal matters.
