Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Technical Engineer to lead engineering operations onsite at a Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical site in Pleasant Prairie, WI. You will manage technicians, vendors, and subcontractors, plan preventive maintenance, and ensure systems operate reliably.

Responsibilities include safety compliance, training, emergency response, and driving continuous improvement while upholding CBRE's RISE values. Strong Microsoft Office skills and 4–5 years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of job-related experience or equivalent combination.
• Ability to lift heavy loads (50 lbs) and meet physical requirements.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on multiple sources of information.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Comply with codes, regulations, and company directives related to building operations and safety.
• Oversee operations, assign work orders, and train coworkers and subcontractors.
• Consult with clients to schedule preventive maintenance and downtime minimizing interruption.
• Formulate and implement preventive maintenance to extend equipment life.
• Oversee and inspect work by engineering staff.
• Ensure work is complete and spaces are in prime condition.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and summon assistance as needed.
• Apply knowledge of standard principles to complex assignments and provide solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across disciplines.
• Lead by example, align with CBRE RISE values, and build consensus.
• Impact customer, operational, project, or service activities within teams.
• Operate within broad guidelines and policies.
• Explain difficult or sensitive information.
