CBRE is seeking an Engineering Ops Manager to lead a life sciences site support team in Concord, NC. You will supervise staff, plan daily activities, and drive performance improvements while maintaining client relationships and ensuring efficient, compliant operations.

Qualifications

3–5 years of relevant experience preferred; degree optional with equivalent experience.
Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, and rewarding performance.
Ability to convey sensitive information and set clear performance expectations.
Strong leadership to drive quality, efficiency, and department effectiveness.
In-depth knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Highly organized with an inquisitive mindset and strong numerical skills.

Responsibilities

Provide formal supervision, training, and coaching for staff; conduct evaluations.
Coordinate daily activities, schedule work, and cross-train team members.
Set deadlines, mentor colleagues, and track department progress.
Maintain client, partner, and stakeholder relationships and oversee operations.
Manage departmental profits and losses and drive key initiatives.
Support policy implementation and ensure compliance with procedures.
Lead by example, promote CBRE values, and resolve day-to-day issues.
