Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Wilson, NC is seeking an HSSE Manager to develop, implement, and manage environmental, health, and safety programs at a life sciences manufacturing site. You will ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, FDA GMP, and biosafety standards while collaborating with client operations and JLL teams.

This role focuses on leading incident investigations, training, audits, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in EHS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
• 4+ years of progressive EHS experience in life sciences manufacturing.
• Solid knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and FDA GMP requirements.
• Proven track record implementing and maintaining EHS management systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain EHS programs compliant with OSHA, EPA, FDA, and life sciences regulations.
• Lead incident investigations and serve as liaison with regulatory agencies during inspections.
• Design and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs for new hires and ongoing safety refreshers.
• Oversee safety programs including LOTO, SDS management, hazard communication, and emergency response planning.
• Manage waste programs, air emissions, wastewater, and pollution prevention initiatives.
• Provide EHS expertise for capital projects and benchmark performance against industry standards.
