Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Associate Director of Cost Management / Quantity Surveying for Life Sciences Construction. You will lead complex cost consultancy efforts, manage client interfaces, and drive commercial performance across major programs.

The role demands senior leadership, strong communication, and broad experience in cost management within construction. On-site work in the New Albany, OH area is expected, with opportunities to advance in a global practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or field related to construction.
• Graduate degree in quantity surveying, cost management, construction management, or engineering is preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience working in a cost management role in the construction industry.
• SME in Quantity Surveying, and RICS certified or equivalent accreditation.
• Demonstrates excellent presentation, verbal, written, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cost management team and interface with the client, stakeholders and other consultants at all project stages.
• Perform quantity surveying, cost controls and change management activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Communicate effectively with client(s) and other consultants at all project stages.
• Be the first point of contact for reporting on the overall commercial status of a project.
• Drive best practice in cost management and project controls across stages.
• Identify opportunities to improve cost management procedures and tools.
• Undertake staff performance reviews and mentor talent.
