Job summary

Bio-Rad Laboratories seeks an Account Manager to drive sales growth for the life sciences portfolio across Ohio, with preference for Columbus. Respond to customer inquiries, update opportunities in Salesforce, and spend time in labs meeting customers to advance opportunities and strengthen relationships.

The role requires 3+ years in life sciences sales or research, a BA/BS in life sciences, and overnight travel.

Qualifications

BA/BS in life science required; MS or PhD preferred.
3+ years of sales or relevant research experience in life sciences; Genomics/Proteomics focus a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build lasting customer relationships.
Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce.com preferred) and Microsoft Office; strong analytical, organizational, and territory management capabilities.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to drive adoption of Bio-Rad's Genomics and Proteomics solutions across primary and secondary numbers.
Engage with academic customers through on-site visits; field time 4 days a week.
Maintain a healthy sales funnel with CRM updates and accurate forecasting.
Collaborate with Account Executives, Field Application Specialists, and Marketing to expand Bio-Rad's footprint and ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintain strong communication and technical fluency; report activities, trends, and customer needs.
