Construction Superintendent

We are seeking a Construction Superintendent to support construction management for GBA Builders, primarily in the Boulder, CO area. The role involves working closely with the project manager while exercising autonomy in daily operations. The ideal candidate is a team player, self-motivated, and willing to assist where needed, offering thoughtful solutions to improve project efficiencies. Experience in constructing Pharma / Biotech facilities is MANDATORY, with a preference for candidates with a strong background in mechanical/piping.

Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate and supervise Pharma / Biotech renovations and building additions involving process piping, clean utilities, mechanical upgrades, and automation.
2. Collaborate with clients, design teams, and subcontractors to ensure project success.
3. Promote a 'Safety First' culture on the jobsite.
4. Implement Quality Control and Quality Assurance procedures.
5. Manage daily subcontractor activities and site logistics.
6. Review and submit shop drawings, product data, and test reports.
7. Develop and update construction schedules and 'look ahead' plans.
8. Review estimates with the operations team, considering logistical and site factors.
9. Monitor project budgets weekly/monthly with project management.
10. Prepare daily/weekly reports and maintain a photo journal of progress.

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree in construction management or trades experience.
• At least 7 years of construction management or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and process piping.
• Collaborative approach with contractors, designers, and clients.
• Proficiency in MS Office and scheduling software.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proven leadership ability to build and guide a team.
• Self-motivated with effective time management skills.

Salary: Approximately $90,000 - $140,000, depending on education and experience. Senior candidates may undergo additional assessments for salary determination.
