Responsibilities of the TRAVELING COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT include:

• Providing leadership and management to assigned projects, ensuring safety, profitability, and timeliness.
• Managing various teams and job sites, maintaining standards of quality and integrity.
• Participating in all construction phases of the projects.
• Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Ensuring the orderly and timely completion of projects.
• Coordinating with the Project Manager on means and methods for successful project execution.
• Managing costs, preparing projections, and reviewing change orders.
• Completing close-out requirements and punch lists promptly.
• Providing feedback for future bidding or negotiations, especially on subcontractor performance.

Job Requirements:

• A four-year construction-related degree or equivalent technical training and/or related experience.
• 7+ years of experience managing multi-family construction projects, with thorough knowledge of contract documents, materials, equipment, scheduling, productivity analysis, and cash flow procedures.
• Ability to manage large, complex projects and multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
